What our directory covers
Counts from our own published listings and reviewed country relationships. They describe the CrossBorder Select directory, not the size of a market or the suitability of a jurisdiction.
No reviewed coverage snapshot is published yet
We have not completed the independent source and coverage review needed to release a dated statistics report. We will show the frozen dataset, sample and limitations here after that review. No count on this page should be read as a market estimate.
For current listings, browse the country directory. The methodology below explains what a future snapshot will include.
Methodology and limits
The snapshot query starts with public published provider records and enabled countries. A listed provider-country association is distinct from reviewed service coverage. Only approved, source-backed, display-permitted relationships qualify for the reviewed coverage columns. Freshness is evaluated against the observation time at the snapshot date using a 180-day window. The dataset and query version are frozen; later corrections create a new snapshot rather than rewriting the old one.
Country counts can overlap because a provider can serve more than one country. The denominator is this directory’s published listings, not all providers in a country. Missing evidence is unknown, not proof that a provider does not serve a country. No sponsorship or engagement metric affects these counts.
Current limitations
- Counts describe records in the CrossBorder Select directory, not the provider market or service quality.
- A directory country association is distinct from approved source-backed coverage.
- Fresh means the approved observation was retrieved within 180 days and has not expired.
- No independently reviewed coverage snapshot has been published.
